The Other Guys.

So Beda didn't exactly go as I had planned nor is this blogging once a week thing. At least I'm trying, I do keep stating that I need to update my blog but I struggle to find topics that don't involve personal things, I try and keep my private life private, you know as you should.

BTW, SPOILERS/MENTIONS FOR/OF THE FOLLOWING BOOKS BELOW: The Hunger Games Triology, Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake Series.

Anyway, I'm a reader of the chick literature type of books, as well of course of the fantasy/sci-fi genre both a bit of which I've been reading recently and this is when I realised I have a thing for the other guys. You know the ones that the protagonist doesn't end up with. Even in popular books like HP, didn't see Harry and Ginny coming at all...Was always more of a Jacob fan...I prefer Richard over Jean-claude (this may be a werewolf thing...) and definitely wanted Gale over Peeta. I mean, seriously, what is my deal? Why do I prefer the ones she doesn't choose? Maybe because they are more for me than for her? But then half the time I'm like YOU SHOULD CHOOSE THE OTHER ONE SERIOUSLY!! So I have no idea...

There were three in my most recent read, until I caught on before the protagonist did that one of them were the token gay character and then she fell in love with what was a weird man instead of the handsome one with the muscles...i mean what. Also, you know what we need to get over...our lack of sexual description....we need more of it. I mean yeah you describe the passionate kissing, the climbing about n the removal of clothes, but after that it gets a bit vague. I guess we get the idea of whats happening but like...really. Yeah not sure what I'm on about here.. lol.

So yeah, I have a thing for the other guys. The ones that don't get chosen, that get forgotten about and you never really know what happens to them, other than they turn into werewolves at the full moon, fall in love with babies, or you know disappear into another distract...abandonment.  Maybe I just have a ting for the underdogs, for the guys who are geninuely better than the ones the protagonists end up with...and maybe I need to find my own 'other guy'.

I have a cheek saying all of this really when I should be writing my own books n perhaps resolving these character flaws with my own characters but yeah current lack of inspiration going on...but I know I need to get over it somehow or another. Perhaps by not working myself into a tired zombie-like status everyday. Anyway this is a random update from me and now I'm going to go back to my zombifiedness.

Until next time,
Sami
