Here I am updating like I said I would be! Most of you seemed to like my list which is good since I seem to be ticking things off it quite well. Since I posted it last week, I have achieved 2 things which I can now score out, which I am going to tell you about today. The first one being, I got a new tattoo which was number 4 on my list! Okay so I was already aware I was going to get another tattoo when I put the list up but I was running out of ideas so it went on it. Maybe Ill just get another one to make up for it.
Anyway, my tattoo is of a book and it's on the side of my heel just below my ankle bone. I have wanted this tattoo for so long and I'm very happy with how it turned out. It's a small representation of my love of reading and writing and will be a constant reminder of what I want to do with my life! Here's a blurry phone picture of it, it's still healing so I'll not be getting a proper picture til that happens. But here you go, for now:
I'm not going to lie to you blog readers, tattoos hurt. This one wasn't as bad as I was expecting because it's tiny and it took like ten minutes, but in general, it's sore and anyone who says it isn't is either mental, or hasn't had one. It's ten needles going in and out of your skin all at the same time, so yes, of course it hurts. But sometimes, its worth the pain :P. I have two other tattoos as well, one on my leg and one on my back, they both hurt as well but I still love them.
Anyway, the other thing I have managed to tick off my list is number 10 which was to go to a new bar/restaurant/place. Since it was my best friend's birthday, we wanted to go out somewhere and celebrate and oh boy, we did. We started by going to one of our local haunts during the week and finishing in a new place at the weekend. We went to a bar called Eivissa which serves cocktails in fishbowls which was interesting seeing everybody walking around with them in the middle of a club. It was fun but I wasn't nearly drunk enough to truly enjoy it and of course the boyfriend was tired so he whinged a whole lot til I took him home. It's fine, he knows I call him a whinge-bag. I didn't have my camera with me but I did manage to snag one photo on my phone of the ceiling/wall in the club, which was all graffitied up and had like 12 disco balls hanging from it, which was rather insane.
It was a fun but eventful week and then I had to go to work on our busiest day of the week. I have finally managed to catch up on some much needed sleep but now I have to start ticking things off my to-do list unfortunately. Blogging was one of them, since it's on my list to blog once a week. The list is coming along well thus far, so let's hope I can keep the momentum going!
